On Tuesday this week, our Medals and Militaria sale went extremely well , taking a record amount for this type of sale. A collection of African swords and associated items achieved a hammer price of £1,200. The time capsule containing memorabilia of Ondrej Kacir, a Czechoslovakia RAF pilot, raised a hammer price of £900 for the family member who put it up for sale. And the pair of 18ct gold cufflinks bearing the Royal cypher for King George V presented on retirement from the Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert soared to hammer price of £2,100

And given the success of that first lot, we're getting very excited about the collection of Zulu spears, axes and knobkerries included in the next sale on June 30th.

Coming up, we have a sparkling Jewellery sale on 17th March, the catalogue is online now.

Lot 50 Estimate: £30,000 - 40,000

Lot 50 is a stunning diamond solitaire ring, 5.15ct approx. and flanked by diamond shoulders. Estimate: £30,000-£40,000.

That same week we have our first Historical Documents and Ephemera sale on Wednesday 18th March with an amazing selection of fascinating items; from the Royal Warrant appointing Winston Churchill as Lord of the Admiralty to an important letter from Gandhi to his son Harilal. The catalogue is online and well worth a thorough browse.

After that, another week with two sales; Fashion, Furs and Textiles on 24th March and Printed Books and Manuscripts on 25th March.

We accept consignments up to 3 weeks before each Specialist sale, and every week for our General sales.
