In addition to the specialist departments, Chiswick specialises in probate valuation work.  If a probate valuation is required for tax purposes a valuer can visit the property and produce a document suitable for submission to the Inland Revenue.  A probate valuation carries a fee of £200 + VAT, but this fee is refunded where items of value subsequently come in to the saleroom for sale.
